DD17 Splitboard Race

DD17 Splitboard Race Format: Helmets required. Soft Boots only please, no Hard Boots. The individually timed Uphill & Downhill race will include both changeovers. All racers are required to have a splitboard, bindings, poles, skins, backpack and valid Lift Ticket in order to race. Loosing your skins, poles, or leaving trash on the course results in disqualification.
DD17 Split Registration Rules: The Dirksen Derby Splitboard race will be capped at 50 total racers with an equal amount of spots available to male and female competitors. Splitboard Registration will begin at 9am PST on October 2nd, 2024 at DirksenDerby.com.
DD17 Invited Racers include:
- Top 30% from the DD16 Fast splitboard division (email invites will be sent out around May 1st, 2024)
- Top 30% from the DD16 Flow splitboard division (email invites will be sent out around May 1st, 2024)
- Top 100% from the DD16 Women splitboard division (email invites will be sent out around May 1st, 2024)
- Top-3 from 2024 VertFest at Mt. Bachelor (Mens Elite Splitboard division only) *
- Top-3 from 2024 VertFest at Mt. Bachelor (Womens Elite Splitboard division only) *
- 1st place at 2024 Bombhole Cup (splitboard race divisions only) *
